It's been over a year since i even messed with search engines, so needless to say im a bit rusty with them. I remember back in the day i would just use web postion gold & 2 months later the traffic would come rolling in.

Is that still obtainable, or have search engines become so commercial its almost not worth buying software for listings?

I've spent the last year sitting on my ass while my search engine traffic worked for me, now its slowly dying off & its time for me to work at it again. Just a year ago i was writing tutorials on search engine ranking, now i feel like im out of the loop.

most se's have teamed up and changed to ppc.. only good ones left are dmoz and google, wisenut.com looks promising
