Just wondering.. if someone signs up to a $3.95 trial, are they charged $3.95?

Or are they charged with a helluva lot of other bullshit..

its hard to believe that a sponser can afford giving people $30 per trial, when the trial is $4.. is the ratio of getting a trial and renewing a membership that high?

Question is how much do they make off of each 4$ customer you send them, THAt is what you should think about...

Flip the coins.

I hear that the average retention is 33% so here is what I think. They pay 3 X $35 = $105 for the one precious member that will stay longer the 3 months on average and that is where the profit is made.

If that member stays 4 months they make 25% on their money or so. I guess in the long run some of these members stay for years even and it all averages out to a profit.

the trial site bills them $3.95, it's all the other ventures that wind up charging them $3000 by 34 companies in 27 different countries that you have to worry about.

michaelw They are charged 3.95 for the 3 day trial and rebilled at around 34.95 after the trial. its called recurring..

They arent getting fucked most of the time unless they don't read the T.O.S.

But yes there are upsales within the site that can generate some income because the the surfer is already qualified to own and use a credit card..

Think about how much money they make on the traffic you send them that doesn't convert into a direct sale.

I have heard people say that some programs will run a shitty tours on some sites so they can make sales on the exit consoles, which they don't have to pay you on.

Might be just a rumor, but it've heard it said more than once.

For once I will agree with you Mr. Fiction
That's why I won't send my traffic to sponsor programs that use exits to other programs or won't give you credit for exit traffic.

I have seen a couple programs out there that hit the surfer with so many fucking entrance consoles the poor bastard couldn't join the original site if he wanted to.

gotta love the tours that have free e-mail sponsors on them that you don't get credit for

yeah, good deal for me - I send surfers to your site on links that say "$3.95 Trial - Click Here!" and then they get hit with the word "FREE" - thanks for fucking me up the ass, Mr. Sponsor
