I don't understand why NK test firing a missle is a problem.

The NK government would prolly find away to get all the money and sped it on weapons.

NK is a very poor country. Really sad. So any change would be for the better one would think.

I suspect NK and Japan could end up in a war very easily. Would be nice to let Japan just handle it. We have a treaty to help them though. Fear is that NK will go nuclear or try since the missle tests are not getting them the exact attention they wanted. Then the response would be just to bomb the hell out of all the industrial and military installations.

The problem is not the firing of missiles alone.. I think the problem is the combination of having confirmed nuclear capabilities, pulling out of unilateral talks with other countries about nuclear technology and then building and firing off missiles.

Also their country is fucked up, execution of citizens who try to help others flee the country etc... they are trapped in the secret state and no one seems to give a shit about it in their country since they are so blinded to the outside world...

I'm more worried about Pakistan, they have nukes that actually work, their leader is not very popular...he has already survived a few assisination attempts...if he is killed or overthrown some warlord in southern Pakistan could get the nukes while their country's military leadership is in chaos which would be really bad news.

Bernard Henri Levy, also known by his initials BHL, says terrorists could lay their hands on the nuclear weapons in Pakistan since its secret service, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), is continuing its collaboration with the Al-Qaida and other radical Islamic terrorist groups.

In his latest book, Levy - who has also served as a special envoy to French President Jacques Chirac - has stirred a hornet's nest with a string of serious accusations against not just the ISI, but the entire administration of General Musharraf.
