I use Avast! personal. It's free, they have updates like crazy, easy to configure, etc. When it detects a virus though it has a VERY annoying sound, thankfully you can change/disable it. I have mine screaming 'AAAAargh! A Virus has been detected matey!'.

That's not because it's secure... any fool knows that. It's because no fucker can be arsed to make a virus that runs on MacOSX, because there's about 3% of the amount of Mac users as there is Windows users :P

That said, my next upgrade to our studio is going to be a full Mac invasion lol

for avast....

also to note: avast scans everything, so it can slow puter after being on a few days constant... so you have to reboot every day or so...

yes, it can be easily disabled. For a while I would have said Kaspersky, but for the last year they havent been up to par.

BoyAlley. Norton is really at the top of the shit list. Its a system hog. And plus it doesnt catch half the problems.

Two antiviruses I have seen in this thread that are good are, NOD32 and Bitdefender.

looking for free programs, go with AVG.

Also, I have been testing the Microsoft Live Onecare on a spare box. Seems to be doing the job. A real shitty job. heh

as for my personal antivirus. if i told ya, I would have to kill ya.
