cheaters are always so damn indignant when they get caught...

Fine, Richard.
I`m sorry for some ruse expressions! But i`m offensed with all this situation. I`m honest submiter and have been submitting on your TGP during 3 years. When you start with payed accounts - i pay! But all of it didn't make any sense! I trade (have some SJ) and if I know tgp owners for some years - I trust my partners! And for you the location is priority or even don't know what else.. That's rather sad.. I appreciate money refund (i'll check it later) though it's not the most important for me. What is do important is that I lost you as a partner. I value my honest name and partnership. That's it. Sorry if I brought you any troubles. |

Nothing but praise for RR here.:thumbsup |

Let's investigate it fairly: I c, u offend a some people, while protecting your MGP from cheaters and other bullshit. Sure, you have your rights to protect your biz. But main point of this situation is not WHAT you did, but HOW you did that. Did you make some warnings on your site, on rules page or by mail? No, you didn't! Did you configured your script to show a warning message or something like that? Hell no! Everything was as usual... Maybe that people wasn't complied with your rules, but, when you stop accepting their submissions without any warnings - you became a cheater as well... and, maybe, not even a cheater, but a some kinda thief. Cuz man, who steal thief's money - thief as well. :winkwink: So, return their money, and make your site compliant with your new rules, which now in your head only. That'll be honest, I think, and let you to keep your face on. :upsidedow |
good to hear RR is fighting the Russian spammers/scammers : )

For what it's worth Richard is a nice guy with good ethics unlike many of this business. Granted he has (had?) a rather suspect haircut but you can't hold that against him ;) |

I know everything about Richard - good traffic, etc., but way, which he protecting his site is unacceptable. Well, they're russians, so what? Or you wanna say, that Richard's attitude could be other if they're lives in America? So, the RichardsRealm team are racists? Watch your words, dude... |

Oh and for what it's worth - Richard wasn't American last I looked. |

and for the record, Rich kicks ass and if the thread starter or his clone have a problem... well, what a pity, Otto, Silvia, Joseph and all the russky family :Oh crap |

The starter of this thread complained about not getting a couple of refunds - despite receiving refunds okay on other accounts. I did "investigate it fairly" and refunded them fairly. I apologised for missing the accounts in question and asked if there were any other accounts he wanted to let me know about. |
I have not read everything, but I was submitting there under 10-15 different names back in the day, and Richard knew it, and let me slide. His traffic and attitude was great.
Yes, I have had galleries rejected for dumb reasons, but after discussions, it was always worked out with concessions made by both sides over the years. If I still did TGP, RichardsRealm would always be on the top of my list (along with Shemp's of course). The point of this post? If I am going to pass judgment, and one side is Richard, trying to protect what he has built over many years; and the other side is one of two Russians I never heard of before . . . Richard wins. Hands down. |
Shit . . damn typo.

I do not know where the starter of this thread is from - see one of my earlier posts. We are not racists, but are cautious when someone works hard to disguise their identity. |

The people I feel sorry for in threads like this are honest Russians. There are some around and I know a couple well. However, with so many scammers and other idiots redirecting, ignoring rules, submitting crap, spamming boards etc etc it's gotta be very, very tough for those that are trying to make an honest buck. Scammers like the ones above must make it very, very hard for the ones that don't.
Of course I'm being harsh and prejudiced against these guys. All honest people use fake names, multiple accounts, fake addresses and IP proxies. |

So, let's be a humans and close this thread... cuz we're all haven't a problem here... Thanks to all and good luck for everyone! :upsidedow |

When I think back on it, it seems funny that I went thru the effort of making up all the stupid names (Mona Lott, Mike Hunt, Ima Ball, Long Duk Chiu, among others). This is going to crack you up. I just found the email from August 3, 1998, when you finally told me that you knew I was submitting under various names. This is what I think you will find funny. You ended the email with, "I'm sorry if I sound rude, irrational, selfish, arrogant or anything else, but checking upto 100 sites a day tends to turn the brain a bit mushy!" I guess things have picked up from then. :1orglaugh |
Although we dont do galleries much anymore RR has always been cool with me. :thumbsup

100 sites a day, and 20 of them were from me. I don't know if you remember calling me after you outed me. You wanted to know about the productivity of your traffic. I was impressed that you made that call. Your traffic was always some of the best out there for me. Others had more, but yours converted. |

False positives on scans are just a bit of a pain. The trojans that lock the browser and cause the need for a rescan  The obvious, scan part at a time. You did have it good with a 100 sites a day!! Baddog, the shame of it all!!! Multiple usernames. We're they on the same IP? :1orglaugh |

Not sure . . . I was probably still on dial up, using either AOL or Earthlink. I wasn't going thru a lot of effort to disguise myself, a lot of it was for my own tracking purposes. Back then, submitting under multiples wasn't as frowned upon as it is today. I used to own quite a few TGP's, in that I would be the primary submitter and they would get the balance of their galleries by taking them from other TGP lists. Fun days. |
