Hey guys just a quick question,

I was reading (a first for me) "Web copy that sells" by Maria Veloso. Really good book with some interesting ways to get people to buy your product (VolumePills.com) in my case. However, one of the points made was that images are not half as important as text. In fact site vistitors go straight for the text.
Running a TGP site clearly does not fit this, but what do you think about this when selling products over the net.

Images or text?

Its all in the colors, has nothing to do with pics or text...

But you still need a pitch, then again if the site looks cack you would'nt get that far.

Text, man. Text is key. You have more opportunities to develop your call to action and provide support for it. Graphics are used as 'triggers.' It all depends on what you're selling--for penis pills/male enhancement products you need a lot of text to build up TRUST in the mind of the otherwise skeptical consumer. Plus it's easier to SEO (although I'm not claiming to be an SEO guru by a long shot).
