Snapnames expiring domain name auctions

I'm wondering who is getting all the money from the auctions?

Does Snapnames have a monopoly on this expiring domain name market?

It's shared between the auction site (i.e Snapnames) and the registrar. Some companies like eNom have their own auctions, so they really must be creaming it off.

The money goes to Snapnames and the registrars they have under contract.

There are other dropcatcher such as Pool, Enom, Namewinner, etc. So, they don't have a monopoly. But AFAIK, Snapnames has a monopoly on the domains expiring at networksolutions.
