Another Microsoft IE security flaw

I didn't see anyone post this yet so here's a link to fix the new Security flaw with IE that could allow a hacker access to your computer through a gopher page. Apparently Oy Online Solutions LTD informed Microsoft of this on May 20th but there's still no patch available and can't give a timeframe on when they will have one available.

A simple fix for it is located here

mozilla is quite excellent, btw. if you haven't tried it in a while give it a look. it just released 1.0 (ooh) but it's been quite usable for several months now.

tabs + background loading of tabs + disable unrequested pop-ups = surfing bliss.

now if only there was a flash player for freebsd, i'd be a happy happy man.
