So suck it up.

Well Ian Wright saying that doesn't mean England are a team of divers.... He was thoroughly slated for his commentary. I don't remember the incident you mentioned, but was a lot longer ago than the last Portugese dive!

And no, England would have not won, because he didn't matter on the field. He's only a useless overpaid violent little pitbull fucker.

Don't need to say anything else...
Thanks.. :D

put it this way, rooney is as thick as dogshit. He was playing against portugal, known for diving/unfair play. What does he do, goes fighting for the ball with 2 players, dumbass imo, not as much as the coach tho.

How is it different? Portugal have done this all tournament: dive get opposition carded, sent off, etc and whinged to refs (very sportsmanlike especially to celebrate with a wink to the bench: well played Ronaldo).

If they could have they would have got a penalty, they find the 18 yard box even slipperier than the rest of the pitch!

his commentary? he was in the studio, not commentating, and he wasnt slated for saying this. Its accepted, you cant blame the divers, blame the refs if you have to. Or just accept that its the way football is going....

omg, i knew trying to debate with a one eyed english supporter was impossible. Do you know why wales went out of the euro's, because a guy who was later banned for 18 months for drug taking, took a freekick which another guy headed in. If you are looking at unfair then look no further than little teams that get mistreated by fifa all the time. Dont look at tit for tat on field diving which all teams do nowadays?

To fight for the ball against divers is stupid? Surely it is the ref's responsibilty to cut out the diving on the pitch (as well as Fifa on a larger scale).

One of Rooney's strengths as a player is desire, will and determination.

The ref was duped. Whether it has affected the outcome is anyone's guess, but will always be conjecture. Time to forget it and move on, I just hate to hear that Rooney deserved red and that Portugal deserved to win the game.

Portugal are in the semis. I won't be cheering them, but at the end of the day they are through. It is over now time t enjoy the other matches now.

The player is at fault if he deliberately dives, however the ref is in charge of controlling this, so he is also at fault if duped.

I have realised you are stupid and will argue anything to be contrary!

Kinky John 07-03-2006 02:17 AM

nah way mate . . it was a travesty

Rooney is a good player but he is a boy with a very bad attitude. He has done this sorts of things before and he will do it again. He is a hooligan supported by hooligans.:321GFY
And the more you beefs support him, the more he will behave like this and the more you will lose :2 cents:
