    Whats are you using to play your cdr backups?

    I am not comfortable with busting it open and soldering shit, but have heard good things about the 2 PNP mods that are out.

    i put a modchip in my old ps1 and it wasnt too hard... that was sodering wires. these ones you just need to plug it in, wouldnt take you any longer than 10 minutes. that box thing looks a little bulky to get because you dont wanna open it up.

      well labret u can either use the one that connects to the ribbon inside your PS2 which is the plug and play model or the Neo or phoenix chiip which use solder.Go with the no solder modchip....and my brand of media is SONY CDR 80 minute blanks
