I myself am getting hitched in October. It's quite the feeling.. the anticipation, anxiety, excitement, exhaustion, energy... all of it at once!

And the most overwhelming one of all, the happiness. There's not much that compares with the feeling of just knowing that you're with the one you want to be with forever.

i got married almost two years ago myself. be sure to hang on and keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times.

When I go to weddings I now give people hahaha163;2k worth of lawyers vouchers. On the day they think I am as rude as fuck. They always thank me though a few years later when they are in the divorce courts.

it takes very very special people to make realationships work these days, anything is possible, it is all in the pursuit of happiness and if someone can bring you happiness they why not give it a go.

at least you can say you tried, if you pre conceive failure you will end up doing just that, failing.

I got married at 24, divorced at 28. But you know, it's an experience I learned from, and it didn't fail for a lack of love. Yeah, marriage is a hard thing, but so is anything else worth having. You don't just get married and from then on out it's smooth sailing..that's like busting your ass to get a great job and then not working at keeping it. It's a constant process of learning, communicating, adjusting, compromising, and because our experiences shape who we are, we keep changing on a continual basis, meaning that what worked yesterday may not work today. But that doesn't mean you stop trying, you just find out what works today, and if it doesn't work tomorrow, you try something else.

My advice is this: Men and women really are like different species. If you both understand that the golden rule really doesn't work in male/female relationships because we need different things, and communicate expectations clearly, then the error margin is greatly reduced.
