You know, I used to think Tito was a dick too but, after watching him on the Ultimate Fighter series, I gained a whole new level of respect for him and I lost a lot for Ken.

Tito should easily win this fight. Ken needs to give it up. He isn't all that anymore. At least Randy knew when it was time to step out of the octogan.

Ken,if you have one more in ya.....nows the time!

I guess you missed TUF 3.

Mike AI 06-27-2006 08:05 AM

Tito. Shamrock should know when to retire.

SxDx 06-27-2006 08:12 AM

I like both fighters and don't care who wins, so long as it's a good fight. It'd be a lot more exciting if Shamrock won though

His natural fighting weight is anywhere from 225 up to 240. He has to cut severely to get to 205, its a well known fact.

His last wins:

Sam Adkins
Alexander Otsuka
Brian Johnston
Kimo - again
Yoshiki Takahasi
Kaatsuomi Inagaki
Larry Papadopoulos
Dan Severn - 1995 <<<Stopping here

Oh yeah, I can see how he did well at 235 with those guys. LOL

Your views on Tito will change dramatically!

ajrocks 06-27-2006 08:48 AM

much respect for the old school guys they made UFC what it is today, but man is he going to get his ass handed to him again.

BradShaw 06-27-2006 09:05 AM

My $ is on dirty danza.

SwankGoat 06-27-2006 09:23 AM

It is tough to pick against Tito.

Shamrock already threw one fight, to Rich Franklin if i remember correctly. I wish i could find the video somewhere, it was all over the net the night after the fight. Thats when he announced his retirement.

I like Tito, I have a feeling hes going to win, but god damn the UFC is really starting to go WWF lately. Its kind of sad, thats what its taken for this sport to get big. Getting to be too much soap opera mamma drama bullshit

MakingCoin_Fatal 06-27-2006 09:48 AM

tito will win! tko! promise! lol!

SykkBoy 06-27-2006 10:12 AM

Shamrock is my sentimental favorite, but I think Tito's going to take it

My respect for him was also raised by TUF 3

Yeah, because a record reveals everything. We could talk about Royce Gracie's record the last 10 years if you'd like. :)

Watch his fights at 235 and watch his performances at 205. If you can't spot the difference, well, .... go over to Sherdog where you like to grab pics from, and post on there that Ken fights better at lhwt than hwt and watch yourself get laughed off the forums. :)

Also Tito refuses to fight Shamrock at any weight but 205. Even the first fight almost never happened because of that. Ken finally relented and dropped. Tito won't budge a pound on the weight, he wants himself at his best weight and Ken at his worst. He's smart for doing that of course, but the fight would be much more competitive at hwt than lhwt.

Sosa 06-27-2006 11:20 AM

Tito hasn't been as strong lately as when he first punished Shamrock. I'll be sitting down watching it and hoping Shamrock gets his ass kicked once again. I really don't like Tito and his cocky ass but I would rather have him win then Shamrock

I actually got that pic from the Underground where it was posted. Sherdog is for posers and wannabe MMA fans.

Ken sucks period, fighting tomato cans and beating them doesn't change that he is washed up at 235 or 205.

Ken needs to fight Tito to satisfy his ego. Not the other way around.

Whoops! Missed this one.

Why do you want to talk about Royce's record? Is he fighting Tito or Ken?

Maalox...

I haven't looked on line, but Blockbuster usually gets them in pretty quick.

Everyone had this misconception of Tito being a hothead and a prick. Watching the last TUF 3, you'll see that he's not. He cares for his team who he calls his "Kids", and trains them to win.

Ken would say stupid things like... "Don't get caught in a stupid submission".

Tito brought in one of the best striking guys out there in Saul, and one of the BEST grapplers to train his guys in the world, with Dean Lister.

Ken brought in a bodybuilder.

Thomas N 06-27-2006 12:02 PM

I definitely agree he's washed up at this stage, its time for him to hang up the gloves, which I think he'll do after this fight assuming he loses.

Oh, check out this I just found:

Tito's handywork after a few days. Ouch!

Not taking anything away from Ken, he is a legend! :)

Who here who watched UFC 1, went, OMG, this guy is gonna win it all! He was just that bad ass.

It also opened alot of eyes, when a scrawny, no muscle tone guy won.

Both worthy of being in the UFC Hall Of Fame.

Damn, he looks fucked up in that pic. :( Good find!

Thomas N 06-27-2006 12:09 PM

Yeah I have a feeling he's going to look about the same after the second fight too.

I just wish it was going to be in HD. I'd love to watch a live ufc ppv in hi def.

EZRhino 06-27-2006 12:22 PM

Hate to say it but tito will win by submission.
My prediction

Theater 06-27-2006 02:36 PM

Don't think that either one can control their tempers enough to take one for the UFC! UFC has to much to lose for any sign of fight fixing! Tito should take it to Ken, Tito is in Kens head and not gonna lighten up til fight time! Kens temper will get the best of him and he will make a mistake and Tito will take Ken out. Its sad to see an aging fight try to get respect for what he has done for the sport!
Theater

Deraj 06-27-2006 02:44 PM

Tito will win, but FUCK TITO.. I think he's a little bitch =)

born4porn 06-27-2006 02:50 PM

I like tito, and shamrock is old skool! I would like to see shamrock win but I don't think it's gonna happen while I am awake! :1orglaugh

WD Brian 06-27-2006 03:16 PM

They both jumped the shark.

It's all about Pride anyways. UFC is weak in comparison.

Shamrock does have a history with the WWF so you could be very right.
You are talking about the fight when Shamrock threw a kick and fell down and Franklin jumped on him and punded him out.
I really hope he threw that fight because it was just pathetic. It was like watching a old lady slip and fall in the produce section at Trader Joe's. I half expected him to start yelling "Help, I've fallen and I can't get up."

Pride does rule.

UFC started it all, and still puts out good fights.
