![]() I have two computers, one a laptop and one a desktop. One is running XP Pro and the other is XP Media Center Edition. I have them on a network and that all works fine...
Is there any way I can pass files back and forth from monitor to monitor (well, PC to PC) with out having to send shit through the shared documents folder? I want to be able to share crap from one machine to another, but going though My Network Place is a pain in the ass. Anyway to push info or data back and forth without some kind of switch or whatever? Thanks, Bill

Switch? Push? Magic?
You can always "Map a drive" on the remote PC, so it looks like a drive on your local PC and that will give you access to the entire contents of the other PC as if you were there. To map a drive right click on "My Computer" then select "Map Network Drive", then find the network drive you wanna Map and call it something like z:. Then create a shortcut to it on your desktop.
