1: Should Gitmo be shut down?
-Either way what are some of your reasons?

2: If you are American, are you embarased by it and the administration behind it?
-Either way what are some of your reasons?

Shut down? The people inside the cages should be tried and either found guilty or let go.

Shutting down is not going to solve the problem. The problem is real humans are being held without a trial.

good point from what I'm hearing, no one has been given a trial there in the past 5 years. is this valid in a military prison?

We need prisons outside US soil so we don't have to give terrorists and war criminal the same rights a US citizen would have.

Let's face it, war criminals and terrorists don't deserve the same rights as US citizens. That said, they do have some rights, but I believe that is governed byh the Geneva Convention.

if they're no longer proviidng any information and are useless to us, put them on trial and let them sit in a federal prison instead of gitmo.
