Why is there not technology to protect content?
What I dont understand is with all this great technology we dont have some sort of ability to lock down content.
Like videos, so they cant be played on other sites. You would think that stopping the copyright problem would be a simple lock on all videos. I see alot of companies complaining that there video content is all over the net for free. Why is there not a program that can lock these videos down? |

because there will always be tools to unlock the security 0.02 the music industry has been trying to work this out for years. They were trying to get computers to be built with something, but the companies wouldnt do it as people wouldnt buy computers as readily

I remember DRM, they seem like they had a lock on that technology. Did they fail and are out of biz now?
