Maybe the US should make laws for every country in the world. Would make things easier, don't you think? (America would stay the homeland of god and it's masterrace)

Step into that thread and call airek all these names then. he's raising a huge stink over a drop in the bucket compared to the pirate bay.. Go call him a nazi.

It's the same fucking thing on a smaller scale.

if the site was not making available any content owned by US citizens then you would be right - it would have nothing to do with the US, and Sweden would have every right to tell the US to stay out of its affairs... however that is not the case.

Imagine if the situation were reversed. A gang of thieves from the US keeps stealing valuables from Swedish people and selling them in the US. Over and over they do this every single day and they make no attempt to hide their actions. Would Sweden be in the wrong to convince the US government to stop this from happening, if that were the case?

I don't see anyone in that thread calling airek "evil" and "fucked up" for overstepping his bounds for trying to stop illegal distribution of content.

Well what he is trying to do is pretty much exactly what the US government is trying to do. Shut down illegal content distribution.

And for anyone to defend sweden and the pirate bay in this industry is just like if someone hopped in that thread to defend that jerkoff from "bulletinboardforum". Fucking idiocy.

I don't say it's bad for OUR business. However, although this DOES benefit ME, does NOT mean it's a good thing....And using UN power lol. Oh well, probably won't even come that far...

Okay I'm off sailing the whole weekend on the Yacht. Take care

Not much will change when bush dies of old age, and leaves the white house for the last time.

Some countries don't allow their citizens to own firearms. If one or more of them demands that we repeal our 2nd amendment should all stores containing guns (even Walmart) have their entire unrelated inventory seized (even though guns themselves are perfectly legal as are torrents themselves)? Just how much authority are you willing to give other countries over your own?

That's the real point I was trying to get accross with this thread, the debate over piracy and bittorrents is a whole discussion on it's own:upsidedow

Strange the only comment came from someone in public affairs at the Swedish US embassy... Something of this magnitude should be denied by someone in Washington D.C.

BTW, it's fitting that you posted that article over and over, it is the only one I found that says this didn't happen.

Sooo funny...
Bush ignored the UN when he was so determined to hit Iraq, yet wants to use them as a weapon against Sweden..

If anyone needs blacklisted, it's Bush & Co.
