yea, alexa is a joke and overture is skewed because of SEOs searching their own terms. if i run 50000 queries on yahoo for a randomkeytermlikethis, it'll show up next month in overture with 50k searches. its a joke.

but its the best we have for gauging RELATIVE popularity of terms.. so it'll have to do.

i guess the digitalpoint keyword tool is better, the one that pulls from wordtracker. it doesn't compress the different permutations of keywords. they both still suck
