I think the cheapest Ive seen the macbook pro for is $1657 and thats on one of those deal websites that compare different site prices. The sites that sell it for between $1657 and $1800 are all shady new york warehouses that buy leftover 1.83's and don't tell anyone they arent 2.0's.

It means they look it over, and replace anything that was faulty in the unit, which means it has newer components than your 'new' laptop.
