I had one of the first Toshiba 17'' wide screen laptops. I loved it when I purchased it but it sucked on plane rides and stuff. Remember a laptop should be small and portable.

That thing is a portable desktop.

I almost bought one recently but decided to go more compact... for now anyways. Ended up going with a HP Pavillion notebook.

How heavy is it? Looked around that site but couldn't really find the weight of that system so I'm guessing the weight is definitely not its strong suit.

For that price, I'd rather buy an easy-carry laptop and two desktop computers. Put the two desktops in the two places you'll be at the most then just carry the laptop along. When it comes down to notebooks and laptops... bigger is not better.
