fiddy AC's........

wait this is a useless post, im not whoring anything

minusonebit 06-22-2006 06:59 AM

What is with this setting it at 78? What the fuck is wrong with you people? May as well not have any at all if you are gonna set it that high. 65 is the top setting I'll allow in my house and thats only after alot of bitching. 60 is the normal setting.

Barefootsies 06-22-2006 07:20 AM

Yes.

:2 cents:

DutchTeenCash 06-22-2006 07:26 AM

I do, just because my office is a lot warmer then the rest with all the pc stuff, I can literally see pcs decreasing performance when it gets warmer

Big_Red 06-22-2006 07:59 AM

I have AC and evaporitive cooling. Gonna need it today suppose to get into the 100's again.

amandaspost 06-22-2006 08:05 AM

Yup we have central air, but it sucks, downstairs is freezing cold and upstairs is boiling hot.

HpicAnn 06-22-2006 08:24 AM

Yes, 2 but I never use them!

Tat2Jr 06-22-2006 08:27 AM

Because when it is 113 degrees out, 78 feels cool. Plus, trying to keep the house cooled down to 65 degrees in all this heat would cost a small fortune in electric bills.

sweetgirl2006 06-22-2006 10:47 AM

no it doesn't get that hot in vancouver but we are prepare for hot weather ahead...

Spencer4Hire 06-22-2006 10:56 AM

i dont get how u can not have A/C blasting when its HOT & HUMID...i have been dieing the last few days in NYC...90 and humid everyday this week

ssp 06-22-2006 11:39 AM

In the UK, we have radiators to keep us less cold during the summer.

tranza 06-22-2006 11:42 AM

Brazil over here, and I have it.

It's just too hot in the summer!

Vitasoy 06-22-2006 12:03 PM

Nope, it rarely gets that hot here.

Brooklywood 06-22-2006 12:40 PM

I'm the type of guy who turns on the AC as soon as I start to get a little twinge of hotness. I used to keep that machine pumping all summer long in NY. Now that I moved to LA I was shocked to find the bedrooms don't have AC, but my living room does.

My apt. gets a great breeze, plus the ceiling fan so it stays cool, but I have a feeling during July/Aug. I'll be sleeping on the living room couch.

Basic_man 06-22-2006 12:41 PM

I'm from the Canada, and I have two air conditioning in my appartement. One for my bedroom, one for my office! :thumbsup

I can see not having one run at 70F, but you start inching toward 80, and it's AC time.

The humidity is incredible where I live, so I'd be miserable with it. Especially at night, because I can't sleep if it's too hot. And I hate sleeping with a fan on me.

I'm happy at a setting of about 72-74. The manchild would have it set to 60, if I weren't around to bitch about it.

GoodGuy 06-22-2006 01:08 PM

And what do you use in USA for winter to condition your house? Air conditioning too?

CherryLipsRosa 06-22-2006 01:22 PM

I live in Costa Rica and i don't use any AC. I usually have a fan on to keep the air circulating that's all

scottybuzz 07-18-2006 04:06 PM

Scott McD 07-18-2006 04:09 PM

Never really been a problem here, untill now.

This heatwave sucks... :(

Furious_Female 07-18-2006 04:15 PM

yes, 2 central air units ... couldn't live without it.

E$_manager 07-18-2006 05:04 PM

Now it is 4 at night in Ecuador. I need conditioner to warm up but i don't have.

Rui 07-18-2006 05:50 PM

If I didn't had it I would be dead by now with temps around 40ēC :S

MaddCaz 07-18-2006 05:51 PM

too lazy to put it in

Fucksakes 07-18-2006 05:53 PM

I am from Canada, It needs to be cold all the time or I will melt

KrisKross 07-18-2006 05:53 PM

One in the office, one in the bedroom. I only need them three months a year, but I'd die without them.

L-Pink 07-18-2006 05:55 PM

You could store meat in my house ...

woj 07-18-2006 06:43 PM

I have it, everyone here has it...

minusonebit 07-18-2006 06:48 PM

MyNameIsNobody 07-19-2006 03:56 AM

yes.. I live in bangkok

Kimo 07-19-2006 04:12 AM

a/c = must have!

SBJ 07-19-2006 04:51 AM

I have 2 central air units (upstairs and downstairs). I don't know how anyone could live in Arizona without AC.. I've seen people driving and see them sweeting and know their ACs must be broken.

Mr. Blue 07-19-2006 04:52 AM

I have it, but don't use it that much...I just don't really like the feel of air conditioning, but last two days I've had it on full blast, it's just been hot enough to be annoying.

Yngwie 07-19-2006 04:55 AM

I used to have central A/C in the apartment that I was living in 8 months ago, but since I bought my dad's houe I no longer have central a/c.. There used to be central a/c in here, but it fucked up many years ago and was not worth fixing. maybe when I can afford it I will get a new one installed.

baX 07-19-2006 04:56 AM

I just bought one today. It costs me 230 euros for the unit + 50 euros for installing.

crockett 07-19-2006 04:59 AM

A/C is kinda a given in Florida
