Sorry to hear that. I'm also hoping to switch my site this week from the worst hosting company I ever dealt with. (I AM NOT A WEBAIR CLIENT) just to make things clear

We are not 1997 anymore so IMO a hosting company should be able to keep a site online 99.98% of the time.

We have ultra fast high speed connections
We have top of the line servers
We have backup diesel generators
We are in a bunker
We are located on 2 backbones

and bla bla but my ukoshost aka craphost was yet again down for at least 8 hours.

Here's a small list of crappy hosting companies I found to avoid when looking deeper into reviews of my own host.

Looks like these shady people are well aware of their garbage services and start up new companies to hide their crappy resume:

I just want to warn you about the hosting company adiungo.com. It's a waste of money and time. It seems to me that their servers are overloaded. Loading time is anywhere from superslow to superfast, most of the time superslow though. Every other week there is a problem with EMail service, mysql service etc. etc.

LEAVE YOUR HANDS FROM ADIUNGO. Pay three times more for a quality host instead of wasting time and energy on this supercrappy hosting company. Other companies connected to adiungo.com with the same support and servers in the same place:

pchighway . com
pairone . com
zypost . com

I wouldn't chose any of these companies (well, it's just one in fact), even if I'd get paid money for hosting my sites there. It's just not worth the trouble!!!

Before I registered I did a quick check on ukoshost but wasn't able to find a lot of info at first, but from their mails I understood that they are a daughter company of pchighway and when looking for pchighway I find terrible reviews all over the net.

Seems like you have to do a very serious and deep audit before you pick a host these days.

So I would also give you the advice of doing a deep search.
