Free sites What if we build in some script where the surfer only gets to see the pink or hardcore a few times on all galleries but then locks them out and gives them a censored version.

I think it would work well for Free sites. let that surfer hit your page a few times to hook them then give them the censored version so they have to pay. do it by IP or something. I'm not that very technical but you get the point.

What do you think???

If all free sites only showed R rated content then everyone's sales would be MUCH better. The proliferation of free hardcore via TGPs - way back in what was it like 99 or so? - kicked the living shit out of conversions.

Now... you think you could ever get everyone to do what you are saying? All it takes is one guy wanting more traffic to his TGP to be the "cool site without those rules" or the only one with hardcore and then the whole thing falls apart.

this is the problem!

I'm saying give it all away for free but limit the surfers individually kinda like a crack dealer does.. Any advice to make this idea grow?

Good idea. More good ideas would include using only 5 big pics per TGP gallery (TGP2 style galleries), and MGP galleries using only 3 clips which are 10 seconds and under. The problem with these types of good ideas is they can not be implemented anymore. Porn and surfers have evolved passed them.

Good idea. Same 'great' idea as TGP2. However problem is: Surfers already know there is 'more' free porn. When you use 'this' new system, you will lose surfers to the 'more free' porn tgp's...And your network won't ever grow...

Actually, the more I think of the idea, the more I think it has actual merit. The tease is one of the greatest factors in getting a surfer to join a site. Sure, some surfers will get pissed off at getting limited clicks per gallery and go to another site where they can jerk off for free ( whereas they'd be at your site jerking off for free anyway ).

I see now problem with RogerV's idea and think it could possibly increase sales, even if only a few people did it; it's not an idea that needs to be adopted industry wide, ya know. Kind of like when 2257 came out - I switched all my thumbs to softcore. I have less traffic now yet more sales (nothing to write home about, but still). *shrug*

Never overestimate your surfers. Some of them would figure it out and even tell others, but for the most part it would work.

We only show softcore on our new FHG apart from the last pic of the series which will be a cock sucking pic. The galleries get tons of click thrus with people going to check out the tour to see if they can pick up the hardcore for free there. The convertion ratios arent good but it works.

I don't think it's a very practical idea. It requires everyone to adapt to a change not wanted by surfers, but by webmasters. If you don't cater to the surfers wants, someone else will, and that is where they will go. You lose the traffic. No hardcore pics at abc.com? They'll goto xyz.com instead.

Five pics is generally enough, and I don't receive any complaints about it.

How do you track from a free site if the guy bought though? You'd need to carry some kind of information from your free site to the sponsor and even the buy page?
