    I need Costa Rica Info.

    Ok my father is looking at getting a place down there. I need as much info for him as possible. Anyone desire to help?

              I've only been down here for a couple days but I've done some research and heard some testimonials.

              - Escazu and Santa Ana are the "nicest" neighborhoods (most expensive, most white people).
              - Where I am now, San Pedro/Sabanilla is really decent. It's relatively safe and close to Escazu with a lot of... well... everything you need.

              That's in the San Jose area. For beach area, I just know that Jaco has the most whores. Hope this helps!

                                  I am currently living in Escazu... This is probably the nicest area in San Jose. For cost of living, property laws etc... check out http://www.costarica.com

                                  It's pretty much the same as the US as far as goods but you can definitely get great deals on real estate although not as good as you may think. Shit's not "3rd world" cheap here like you may have heard... Only labor is super cheap.

                                      My "real estate guru" was looking in CR but now has decided Panama has better prices. I can get a 1BR condo on the beach in a highrise for less than $80K.
