Widescreen TFT - good?
I need to get a new 19" TFT and I gotta decide between 16:10 widescreen or a normal one. Does anyone use a widescreen tft and may share his experiences with it? What I'm especially interested in is how the odd resolution (1.440 x 900 Pixel) works out...

I've never used one but the only benefit I could see would be being able to have two open windows side by side.
however a 19" widescreen is going to have much less vertical space than a 19" regular screen. so it might end up being more like having 15" side by side twin monitors, not something I would really want to use... I would at least want to check them out IRL before ordering something like that off of a website

Do not get widescreen monitors for your computer man... they are a complete lack of space! You really will regret it unless you wanna have just ONE monitor setup dedicated to movies, cause doing work on widescreen monitors sucks donkey balls.
