OK a couple of days ago I posted a thread looking for a big affilaite program to pick me up and a lot of guys encouraged me to hang in there and stay on my own. They really offered some great advice on things to do that could help me kick it up a notch. Here are some of the suggestions:
1) Trade traffic with other MILF's 2) Split content into more niched galleries and post on niche TGP's, LL's etc. 3) More emails to existing affiliates re: new content available 4) Get part-time marketer who knows what need to be done 5) Buy some sigs 6) Post on Usenet, P2P and forums 7) Get a part-time sales rep who works on percentage 8) Provide multiple tours 9) Buy traffic The thing that stuck out from all this is that I really could use someone who knows this business and could provide the added marketing expertise that is needed to make the site successful. That is one of the reasons I was looking to join a bigger program that would provide this. If I decided to take everyone's advice and stay on my own, the idea of someone who works on a percentage would be ideal (depending on percentage) as it doesn't cut into my current limited resources and gives them unlimited upside potential. What kind of percentage would it take to get someone like this? How do you prequalify the skills required to do the job? Could that person be expected to address most of the above suggestions? Sorry if I am being a pest, but I had to follow up on all these great suggestions and get more input. Thanks, Jen |

If you hired a marketer, they could do all of this. However, with the amount of things in this list, it would be a full-time job. Moreover, most high-quality, experienced marketing people would probably not work for a percentage, but would require at least some steady payment coupled with a (large) percentage. Especially with a small program like yours, which does not have enough size (yet) to provide a small percentage of a large pie.
In my humble opinion, your best bet would be to get someone with decent experience in the industry, who does this for fun and to learn, as well as to make money. That way, you can get a lot of bang for your buck, in terms of effort and work.

I was wondering where you might find someone that would do it on a percentage when it was suggested. Your idea about finding "someone with decent experience in the industry, who does this for fun and to learn" could even work. The challenge is finding that person. Any suggestions?
LadyMischief, I added you on ICQ, waiting for authorization. Look forward to chatting. Hugs, Jen |

Finding someone who will work for a percentage shouldn't be too hard. Hell, make a post on GFY saying you are looking for someone, and you should get a bunch of responses. It's a good way for someone to get some (more) experience in the paysite marketing side of the industry, or a fun project for someone with some time left over.
You'd need to decide what you'll pay, though. A percentage of all new growth, a percentage of all new affiliates, or a percentage of all new affiliates brought in by your marketing/sales rep. Also, be careful with what you expect. A helper will certainly help growth, but a part-timer can only do so much, and to ensure lasting and significant growth, you'll have to do a lot yourself. If you want more specific advice, mail me at kallikles AT gmail DOT com, and I'll be glad to give you some more help.
