Oh, I forgot an important question or two.

What does an affiliate member look for when selling a site? Is it the revshare? Processor? Combination of things?

Go with CC Bill or what?

Thanks.
I bought the first content about 2 years ago, started slowly on it. I made most by myself, except some design, I didn't hurry. I released the program with 4 sites in september 2004.

I think there is room for new ones and i would do it with the right partner/s and exclusive content access.

My idea of the good sponsor i would like to release one day is one who could release some paysites with exclusive content and with a dedicated studio and models so we wouldn't run out of quality content after the first couple of months as lots of paysites do. I have funds, traffic, contacts and experience on affiliates management but i miss the content part, i guess my perfect partner would be a studio owner... but probably that would be the dream partner for everybody

To run and specially to start a sponsor program is a really hard job. I owned a dialer sponsor a few years ago for the Spanish market and it can really waste you, but at same time i enjoyed it a lot and made good money, until the dialers biz became shit with all the cheats, exploits etc and i moved to the international business.

every program competes against each other for same traffic

its obvious that there's a limited number of good affiliates and affiliates overall

why should they promote a new program started by a newbie if they have already so much choice

do you think that only Wired Guy is loyal to TCG ( and a few other programs )

nope, most of the big guys have programs that they promote already and they have no reasons to replace their links with a new program

Okay after studying I'm realizing the advantages of doing a paysite/affiliate thing. That's why I like Cyber Age that I've used for almost 8 years now. It's convenient and professional as an exchange.

I do see that because I make my own content my overhead is incredibly low. A few years ago I had ACPay and it worked wonders. I realized it wasn't how many affiliates you had but WHOM those affiliates are. Just 10 affiliates were able to sell like crazy. It was easy for them as the toons sold themselves. Lotsa traffic and loot. Then ACPay fell off and that was that.

That's why I could partner with someone who knows the drills because I'm making money anyhow.

That's what I like about toons, no benefits, employee hassles. You make all the money!
