Football isn't that gay when compared to say American football. In REAL football they just kick around the ball and have a kickass time doing it. In American football they grab the ball (lmao) and run with it and play grab-ass with all of their teammates. American football, much like watches, boats, and books, is fucking gay. Real football rocks.

If you took the time to learn the concept, you might like it... all my foreign friends who come to visit during FOOTBALL season get into it because they learn the rules.
There are a LOT more rules in Football as opposed to Soccer.
I bet you, I could play a soccer game on a gaming console with NO experience. You wouldnt hold a candle to anyone playing regular American Football.Comment

what I love about both playing soccer and watching it is that its different every time.. I can do what I want with the ball and there are almost no breaks.. course, you have a raw strategy, but besides that you run where the fuck you want, play the ball when you want etc... no need for a fucking supercomputer to calculate all the moves before the game even starts (ref to the nfl)..Originally posted by Amysworld

Soccer fans will claim it is great because it doesn't stop. That is actually one of the reasons it is so boring and delegated to just a kids game in the US.
Soccer is the equivalent of a football game where each team gets the ball on their own 30 yard line and its always 4th down and goal.
Excitement only comes once every 45 minutes or so but it is a one play deal surrounded by complete failure and boredom.
Now, take a NFL game where they put together a 15 play drive and eventually score on a 3 yard run. Now that is something beautiful to watch. 3rd down and five on a long drive is one of the most exciting things possible.Comment
