FYI, it's usually the person that jumps the gun, gets on the offensive, and tries to get a bandwagon for their side on such drama that is guilty. From what I've read so far, that is Mayor.

Okay, I found posts relating to this drama from back at 6pm est... so almost 6 full hours without the video? I smell a combination of bullshit editing and 'our encoding computer is slow' excuse coming on.

I'am guessing that the "editing" "encoding" of the Video, being looked over very well, and could also be tampered with, to make it appear as if everything was ok. Wothout seeing the whole video, who could say??

Bottom line not against anyone here, but.....let this be a lesson to always stay protected.

Yes, the radio shows work very well ... and yes they do remember the URL. I've seen many comapnies do shows and seen their numbers skyrocket.

Ok smart ass the video is 57 minutes long and first I have to render it and then encode it! I don't have some high tech video editing program and do it all myself the only way I know how with Windows Media Encoder. If I was able to edit it into a smaller video like I will do for my site it would have been done hours ago but I want everyone to see the whole thing. More or less to hear the full thing and everything that was said. I have worked some things out with Mayor and he has apologized but I still plan on putting up the video and he is even offered to host it for me. It is on the second and final pass for encoding so just hold tight. Melissa

I wouldnt go as far as SkyRocket maybe a bottle rocket. I know a few things about radio plugs infact I think I had about 20 plugs in one day on the howard stern show once :winkwink: which was a record for the show lol

nestle, ill gladly walk you thru the encoding process. the reality is, i normally do the encoding, but we also normally arent dealing with a file of this length (impossible to upload a raw for me to do). on a regular laptop, which is what shes using, it can take up to 12 hours is my guess. about an hour ago, it was 65% done on the first pass of the encode (the last process). so it will be tomorrow. and we've been dealing with other things as well.

rest assured, tomorrow the video will be online, unedited. we have nothing to hide. i just hope youre looking forward to picking thru 56 minutes of video.
gonna try and pick out the parts where she asked brooke was ok so u can fast forward to those times, but no promises.

No offense, but I couldn't give a shit about the video now that the parties involved has supposedly worked it out and the gfy drama is closing down slowly. (it was a fun read - really hope no one was seriously injured). But what I did have a problem with was people (using that term loosely) getting all defensive because I expressed my and most likely a lot of others' interpretation of the word 'almost'. For the third time, if I was the only one at GFY who honestly expected 'almost' to be less than 3 hours - then tell me, and I'll apologize.

Bottom line: I'm going to miss this drama. Got to be one of the bigger ones since I joined GFY. Again, hope no one was injured and everyone back on good terms. :winkwink:

Well, specific dramatic events/threads will never die because they become part of GFY history. There will be times in the future where we laugh and poke fun at drama such as this but the drama itself will be completely inactive... :) Unless of course this same scenario happens again to the same models involved at a later time. I don't think most people really expected 50 minutes of video to be encoded and uploaded that quickly it was more wishful thinking on her part, obviously now we see she doesn't normally do it. Really you were coming across as a drama whore inserting yourself into shit where you don't belong for attention.
