I've broke 2 of them in the past year.
Once you drop it, it's done. Wait for the new Motorola that is coming out, it's an ear bud that goes in, no Mic, it works off the vibrations in your ear from speaking.

Forgot to add, I"ve had almost every motorola bluetooth. The AX2, hands down, is the best sounding one ever.
Remember to clean the ear hole, it collects ear wax, and degrades the sound.
