I would love for one of them to explain in detail the democrats philophy on economic issue. I'm willing to be that if they had to explain their preferences in different platforms without anyone telling which party is which, most would be labeled republicans.

Bush & co's ratings were around 30% and Canada's conservative party was elected with around 35% of the vote... 65% voted for a left leaning parties... I'd say the majority of American's have voted correctly overall in the last 3rd of this century. We have only had to save the world a few times during your lifetime, but we were willing and able.

your crowd keeps talking about the evil conservatives and then they keep getting elected. the US says the country is going in the wrong direction only because the liberals have not articulated their direction. once they do, Americans will once again remember which direction they want.
