There seems to be a great deal of confusion over simple and accepted geographic terminology as seen in this thread

To satisfy our GFY members, we will be rewriting the maps of the world according to their definitions.

These conditions cause us to reconsider the names of continents most of you are familiar with.

From now on, there will be no North America and South America, since a narrow isthmus (now a canal) "doesn't count".

Henceforth this landmass shall be known as "NoSoAmerica"

The lands you previously knew as Europe And Asia are contiguous. Also, since the Suez canal "doesn't count" Africa is contiguous with them as well.

This landmass shall now be known as "EurAsiAfrica"

For some reason even though Australia owns the entire continent it resides upon this is not an acceptable name to the Eurasiafricans so it will be referred to only as it's formal name of Oceana. The term "Aussies" is no longer adequate and they shall answer to both the terms "Aussies" as well as "Oceanians" or "Occys" for short.

Antarctica shall remain unmolested for the purpose of this discussion.

Now the limeys have their panties in a bunch over this whole affair and are insisting that their own land be reconsidered as a continent as well. Since this is being considered, the Japanese have retorted that they are being prejudiced against merely because of their size and are requesting that the continent of Japan be formally recognized since it also a major body of land separated from other continents.

When asked for official comment from Madagascar, they simply replied "you are all a bunch of whacky honkies, kindly leave us out of this idiocy"

There exists one other feature unique to this new definition that is dependant upon the weather.

The continents of NoSoAmerica and EurAsiAfrica become one contiguous landmass during the winter months when the Bering Strait freezes over. To remedy this, from November 23rd until April 17th every year the continents of NoSoAmerica and EurAsiAfrica shall cease to exist independantly and be referred to only as NoSoAmericaEurAsiAfrica.

This will end all rivalry between silly euros who like to start arguements on message boards since they will rightly be required to name themselves "NoSoAmericaEurAsiAfricans".

Or to cut all the unnecessary crap out and simply get to the center of the word, they will become AMERICANS.
