I have never bought from them, but I have heard from people that have that they are ok. You can just use Escrow.com if you have doubts or if it's a lot of money.

Sometimes it's worth paying for a great domain because it makes you site seem more legit to surfers or, more importantly, it gets some good traffic.

definately.. although this is more about the branding and name recall than traffic... if it was 1 or 2k they could blow it out their asses.. i'd find something else, but it's almost sanely priced (only 30 times the cost of a normal domain - LOL ) so i think i'll go for it.

If i need a good laugh i once in a while check domain names for sale...the people selling them are complete morons...
You need a DAMN good name or else its worth shit and most people dont seem to get that.

lol yeah, they're fucked.. it's amazing how out of touch people are.. i guess some of them are still holding onto that dot com dream.. i crack up going through those lists of people who put "i" or "e" in front of words and are asking for half a million dollars or whatever.... just totally clueless.. relying on other people even more clueless than they are for a sale that really isn't going to happen.. this is the first time i've even contemplated buying a held domain, and it's only because it's perfect for a project, and it's only a few hundred dollars.. i've stopped trying to negotiate with these sort of people.. ridiculous extortionists that hold a generic name worth at most a few hundred dollars for several thousand.
