| hmmm no I have a 20d , however If you got to the camera shops and read the photography boards everybody is saying the 30d is a dud...and the 20d is still outselling the 30d. However a lot of people are ecstatic with the 5d... |

 | I also got the 20D, it rocks. Was thinking about upgrading to the 5D, but... I don't think there would be much of a difference... |

 | the 5D is quite frankly the best prosumer digital camera available today. 13 mega pixels FULL FRAME SENSOR for less than $3000. I had a 20D and i sold that shit the minute the 5D came out and used the money as a downpayment on the 5D. and i've never looked back. i LOVED my 20D and considered getting another (or a rebel) as a backup. but i can never go back to that 1.6X conversion. |

the diff is FF (full frame) i.e. yer lens won't have a 50% length added to them . . you'll be able to shoot in smaller rooms and stand closer to get the figure in the shot . . I use a 28-70 and with the 1.6 ccd that makes my lens aprox 42-105 whch is great for beauty shots but a little to long for 'wide' shots . . do you understand now?

I use the Canon 1D Mark II cameras and I only shoot for the web. Call me retarded if you want....but it's the most dependable and reliable camera I've ever owned. Not to mention the fastest and most accurate focusing I've ever worked with. Overkill maybe....but I need a camera that I can rely on to get the job done and for me...that's the Canon 1D Mark II cameras You should understand that just because someone shoots for the web doens't mean that they can't purchase a large mega-pixel camera. I didn't purchase this camera because it's an 8 mega-pixel camera, I bought it because it's built like a fucking tank and shooting as much as I do, I need something reliable and dependable. Cheers!
