What will you put on your resume for when you worked in the porn industry? I think a lot of people underestimate the "porn taint" they'll have to explain. For many this is the only real job they've had so they pretty much have to put it down or it looks like they've done nothing. I see a lot of former porn workers asking if you want fries with that.

before I went to adult I managed an affiliate program for a main stream dot com before that I was a Headhunter for the casino industry. Cold called and setup deals, I hope it doesnt come to that. I like the creative aspect of what I do.

I would help other people and try to make a business out of it. So far all I have ever done for work has been for the money, and I'm secured. Now I wanna do something that puts a smile on peoples faces, and hope fully still make some money out of it....Got ideas, but the still need some work.

The key is to know this: You *MUST* diversify your revenue streams to have longer term successes. I am sure there are a lot of people on this board like me that had mainstream/adult gigs that were going great and one day they dried up and you have to re-invent your life immediately to keep the cash coming in.

Nothing as fantastic as what you are doing now lasts forever. Events outside your control always are the ones that sink things faster than things inside your control .....

Agreed 100%. I have ALWAYS had something else going on besides adult. There are mistakes I've made (didn't get into real estate as early as I should have, sold stocks when I should have held) but I've always tried to at least have one revenue stream that would keep me in ramen noodles and mortgage payments for a minimum of a year.
