Even though they make up only 6.9% of the total armed forces, teenage soldiers account for 46.1% of deaths in Iraq.

Boys do not graduate from high school and then choose to go off to war and fight for the freedoms of their country. They join for college money and hope they never get called into action. These boys are not heroes. They are victims of the US government.

Rumsfeld is feeding his inexperienced, "expendable" soldiers to the lions... and what were these KIDS marched to their deaths for again?

This is based on the first 2,000 US casualties.

Yeah thats true, but you should know that no one twisted their arm to do this. And thats where you get the word "Infantry" damn near all the ground pounders are kids (infants) ranging from the 18 to 23 yrs of age. And yes, they are inexperienced, but there are some of us that are to old for this shit anymore, been there anddone that, and are moving on. Someone has to take our place.
And its not only them but the leadership that they have to follow. And I have never put my guys in a position that I wouldnt put myself in. So dont try to blame anyone but the war itself. This is just "how the cookie crumbles"

or it could just be that the people they are fighting against are just better

i mean when you are brought in a country saying we are the superpower , spend the most money on training and equipment , superior to the rest , that sort of shit would soon start making you feel bullet proof

what it all comes down to , is it is war , someone has to die , kill or be killed
