Hey guys and gals,

I heard that pinktv blew through all of their money after Internext

they also had 11,000 dollars worth of liquor left over and are having trouble paying their staff and contract girls...

I had heard that they had huge amounts of investor money - some $400,000 bucks for the party and went through it all by Internext

suprised they didnt make any money with the $8 dollar drinks they were charging at the party after midnight

Who would budget all of their capital on a convention? I would think they would have some left for daily operations, no?

We had a party the same night www.webmasterinsomnia.com and I was counting on them taking half of the internext attendees. that didnt happen and all the sudden the club I had reserved for 600 people to drink all night became a head count of 1200 people. Thank god the club was happy at the end of the night and didnt ask for more money!

budgeting most any capital on a convention before you're operational in this game honestly is insane and shows no business sence.

I'll bet AVN's smiling and saying - there's no sweeter money than stupid money!

Yeah seems like a shame, they had a nice booth but it was in an absolutely awful location right near the back. Some of our staff went to their party and said it wasn't fantastic and decided to head over to the Webmaster Insomnia Party...

That is too bad that things didn't work out for them after spending so much money on promotion...

A lot of companies do that... throw extravagant parties, then go out of business.

Of course, I haven't seen anything official on this one, so I'm not convinced that it's true.

I was thinking the same thing - I was sitting with one of the pinktv guys at poker, he didn't talk much (or at all) - I didn't know what pinktv was either. I figured it was just another studio start up. What do they do? Set top box's like DaveTV and Xtv?

I went by their booth and they kept giving me passes to their party saying it was gonna be the best. Not once did they tell me what their company or product was about and even now visiting their site, I still don't know what its about. LOL. What a great waste of money that was

BINGO

You hit the nail on the head-
they could care less about the webmasters' longevity- as long as they pay their advertising bill before they go belly up!

I hope they didn't pay the plane flying overhead too much.

Their party was on Saturday and I saw the plane once on Saturday and about 5 times on Sunday promoting the same party.

Hello ---- PINK TV HERE -----

I think you all have been heavily misinformed. Pink TV is alive and well and healthy as ever. We hope you all enjoyed the summer Internext Party. We threw the Party to introduce ourselves. Many of you don't know what we do and we know that. When the time is right you will know us, I can assure you. All of our 30 staff both in Miami and Prague are working very hard in preparation of our public launch. You must all keep in mind that we do not have an affiliate program, nor do we want one. As this is the case it is understandable that many of you don't understand why we spent so much on an affiliate driven show. Nevertheless, just thought I'd throw our 2 cents out there. See you at the January Internext-- We are the corporate sponsor!

Kind Regards,

Jan Verleur

I would appreciate if individuals on this site would refrain from making comments such as "Pink TV stole someones name." Our company not only owns the domain pinktv.com but we own the trademark in many nations across the globe, including the USA. If anyone feels that we have stolen a name we welcome you to challenge us legally. The Law Firm in charge of Intellectual Property for the Pink TV Network is Malloy Malloy in Miami. We welcome you to take your concerns up with them.

Kind Regards,

Jan, I believe we met in FL briefly.

GFY can me a silly and harsh playground. Sorry it rubbed you the wrong way so quickly.
On a serious note: It doesn't appear that you are too concerned with the existing adult webmaster community. But if you are, I have some suggestions for you and your company. Halcyon AT Pinkgasm Dot Com.

We are always open to suggestions and advice at Pink TV.
I do rememeber meeting you. I hope life has been treating you well.

In regard to your note- I am not offended, nor has this site rubbed me the wrong way. My prior post was not an emotional response, but a proffesional one. I was simply doing my job. It is my responsibility as the president of Pink TV, to protect the interests of my staff, partners, and investors. I seldom get the opportunity to post anything at GFY, as my life is very hectic. But every now and then I log on to take a look, and it always bothers me to see the hard work of my 30 dedicated staff so misunderstood. We are trying to do many great things that we hope will spawn great change within the industry. Although we respect the webmaster community greatly, we at the moment, have no intention of offering an affiliate program and therefore have not been focused on sites like GFY. Above all things it is our goal to appeal to consumers!

Jan Verleur
Pink TV

Must be a revolutionary way to spread your program on the Internet without any affiliates. Good Luck.

User: Invasion - What would you know about Pink TV?
You work with Azure, so I assume your information comes from a model that we have both shot. As Azure only shoots models that never made the cut with us, I doubt you were fed accurate info. The girl was probably pissed off becuase Pink TV didn't want her. The truth is we have over 15k worth of liquer left and we're saving it for the next Party you won't be invited too.

Kind Regards,

Pink TV

I can't think of any companies online(adult oriented) that haven't used affiliates(at some point) to sell a product to a consumer. Even Google uses affiliates.

Jan if you're ever looking for traffic, please give us a shout. We deal with plenty of companies that do not rely on affiliates for traffic generation.
