What would you all think about Video Fansigns?

Tabitha and I were planning on doing fan signs next week, but pondered the idea of letting people chose between a video or picture fansign....what would you all think about that?

It would basically be a short clip of her welcoming visitors to your site, or something else along those lines

would you all have use for something like that? It would be really easy

Jace: If you're going to put the time and effort into doing video fan signs... i would suggest doing it only for people who you know have traffic.... you don't want to end up doing 50 "hey daves friends, this is confirmation that i'm having sex with him so he can brag to you guys" fan signs...

it honestly isn't any more effort to me than doing pic fan signs

we just shoot them all one after the other, I cut them one by one in premiere which takes about 15 seconds a piece, then throw them all in sorenson squeeze and hit GO

all in all it would take me 1 full day, nothing big

besides, no matter where the video ends up, i don't care, because they will all say "hey, this is tabitha stern from tabithastoybox.com, I wanna personally welcome you to fartboots.com, I hope you find some great porn"

right, an embedded flash video OR wmv, either one takes the same amount of time to create, so webmaster would choose

Either is fine... although I've had some video signs promised to me, and they never happened...

Here you all go, a sample of what the video fansign would look like...this is just a clip from our site, I woulkd have had my wife do something real quick, but she is taking a nap...LOL

I can make these any size and the quality will be better, I am working on that, although it isn't bad so far

Flash is fine, or MPG.

I was going to say the same thing about the extra effort you would have to put in to get this going. BUT if you know for sure, this is a great idea and I believe you'll be inundated with requests.
