I think the law in NJ and NY is that you have to use a hands-free device to talk on the phone and drive.

For sure though there are more important things to be going after...

You realize, of course, that probably most of the donations you're giving aren't even going to the police fund? Especially if you have those stickers on your car. Here in GA they pretty much tell the police "I'll fall for any telemarketing scheme and then stick this on my car so I won't get a ticket".

But no, I don't think anyone who donates should be treated any differently.

I would *think* so. So long as both hands were on the wheel. Because isn't OnStar and other things like that that are being added to vehicles nowadays like a speakerphone? So what would be the difference?

you cant use devices that take your attention of the road.
that's pretty default everywhere, once i got ticketed cause i was changing songs on my cd player.
but that one for sure got some early drama envolved with the cop

now i just sign the ticket and go along, you cant do much about this, they're all dicks :\

Yea, tickets suck, but usually if your respectful and don't come off with a whole "oinker, I pay your salary" attitude, they'll go easy on you.
