I couldn't believe they would waste postage an envelope and print a check for that amount. LOL

heh - had a similar experience with a phone company. They sent me a bill for 50cents - so i refused to pay it and they must have sent 10 or 15 more bills before I paid it

You would be afraid to cash them for fear they would bounce and cost you $25

I got one from kara's adult playground (can't remember the program name?) for $30 back in 2001. It cost me $AUD15 (about $USD8) to deposit. Hardly even worth it.

These days my bank lets me deposit multiple cheques for a single fee so the occasional $50 or $100 cheque that slips through when I've forgotten to raise my minimum payout at a sponsor doesn't make any difference...
