I don't own a ferret but live in California so I'm aware of the issue. There's currently a big controversy here about those lil furballs as well as other "undomesticated" animals. I can only imagine you must need one hell of a scratching post for that thing. I have two domestic cats and its enough trouble keeping them from using our $800 jbl speaker grills for scratching posts. Not to mention they stalk me and corner me in the kitchen the moment I wake up, til I feed them. I can only imagine what an exotic kitty like that must be to care for.
