I got my Eminem CD yesterday.

WOW, what a great cd. I know that I could've went out and downloaded most of it online and burned it, but I'm not like that, if I like a band enough, I'll have to have the original.

Anyways, I almost shit myself because I had the cd on reserve at Sam Goody and it wasn't supposed to be out until June 4th, but I got a call saying to come pick it up. At 6pm they said they were told to put it out in a last minute kinda thing. It's odd though because other places online like CD Now are still saying that the 4th if the release date. SO, if you've been wanting to get the cd, it might already be out in your local store, give them a call or stop in. Geez, I sound like I work for the RIAA, ha ha ha.

It was funny as hell though because after I left the mall, I was sitting in my van and people were putting religious pamplets on cars and one walked up to my window to hand me one. Well, I was sitting there wearing my adult.com jacket opening up an Eminem cd, that must've looked good to him, ha ha ha.

hehe.
even though i dont really dig rap that much a few of my friends like it a fair bit... they got the album a few weeks ago and i must say it actually sounds ok. that is in the car cranked right up. the bass is damn good.

the cd was supposed to come out on tuesday but they changed it to sunday. it's not supposed to be out yet, but the record stores get their albums ahead of time. i'm pretty sure they can get a huge fine for selling them ahead of time... but i doubt anyone will catch them.

I like to buy my good cds too, I never take care of my burnt cd. Plus sometimes I don't even know what I put on it. Witha full legal cd you know who it is and I love to read the credits and shit like that.

The DVD that comes with it is pretty cool. There's lots of neat things on there including a couple of live videos, a music video for "Just Don't Give A Fuck", a movie trailer for his full upcoming DVD, another trailer for his movie, and some kind of Eminem cartoon, he he he.

Well worth it, BUT it only comes in certain copies of the cd, you'll have to look for it.

Oh yeah, I also heard why the release dates are all screwed up. I asked one of my buddies that works at the store and he said that it was because of all of the cd was floating around online, so they figured if they waited until June 4th, they'd lose a lot of sales because people would already have it burned onto cd. I don't know if that's true, that's what he said though and he's kinda on the inside, he he he.

The entire industry (retail and sales/distrobution) Have been going apeshit for the past 5 days to get that CD into enough stores to make sure it is in everyones hands by Sunday. This has never happened in the industry before. Usually records only come out on Tuesday. Online bootlegging is really changing shit.

I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

I like to buy good cd's, too. Eminem should make one. I checked his new one out for the hell of it... I just don't get it, I guess. Maybe I'm not white enough.

I'd buy a RHCP cd if Anthony Kiedis wasn't in the band. It's too bad, because the rest of the band has talent.
