A post which demonstrates perfectly why so many outside of the US bash those inside. It's arrogant in the extreme to believe that without the US, the Internet and porn would not exist. The technology could have easily evolved elsewhere had the US been some sort of third world or closed door communist country.

The fact that America does run so many porn programs and has an unfortunate stranglehold on much of the Internet technology does not mean that the Internet or porn sponsors would not exist without it. If all US hosts and sponsors closed shop now there are plenty elsewhere that exist and would pop-up to take their place.
