"Meanwhile, The Daily Mail reports that Amir allegedly pulled a similar scam on Newport Pagnell woman Debbie McInerney, who says she paid him £147 for an iPod which never arrived. Amir said: "The police are investigating the iPod case and I can't comment on it."

Such a dumbass. He deserved what happened to him.

Under the 'Doctrine of Clean Hands' this guy would have no case in the US.

CLEAN HANDS DOCTRINE - Under the clean hands doctrine, a person who has acted wrongly, either morally or legally - that is, who has 'unclean hands' - will not be helped by a court when complaining about the actions of someone else.

Unclean hands can be used as an affirmative defense in cases where the complaint is equitable.

                Interesting...never knew that.

I wonder if Great Britain has a similiar doctrine.

A good example of how this Doctrine is used is say someone buys drugs from a drug dealer and the dealer just runs off with the money.

The buyer cannot sue the drug dealer for stealing his money because the buyer has "Unclean Hands"
