Listening to The Cure - Three Imaginary boys .. Talk about oldschool, but awesome
I just took out the 20 cd collection of the cure and popped in their first album, playing now, three imaginary boys, this one is from 1979 , I should listen to this shit more often, I realize now just how much I missed hearing good music like this, next album I am gonna pop in is The Top, bring back the 80's with songs like shake dog shake and catapillar, then on to my favorite of all time, kiss me kiss me kiss me. ,..... I might just dive real deep into the dreary and pull out my joy division collection while I am at it... Ahh great music.
Anyone else here enjoy the cure? If you don't know any of their old stuff, you should seriously listen to it, very unique, moody, uber depressing at times but all around great creative music to blast in the background when messin around on the net. |

My theory on The Cure is that the bigger Robert Smith's hair got, the worse their music got. In the seventies, his hair was short, and their music was great.

seen them live seven times....thought they sounded best on the Wish tour. This is a funny thread, cuase I heard their song in the movie the Crow last night......hadn't really thought of them in about a year......so I downloaded some oldies. Real good stuff. They have a good live video floating around where Robert Smith plays with Placebo.....it's awseome
