Is air conditioners dangerous when Lighning strike?
It is raining hard here and i just installed that air conditioner to the window frame for the first time in my life.
I was wondering if a lightning encounter it in it's path what would happen?

assuming it is a side mount window AC the odds of a direct hit are next to nothing. Hell on a few of my mobile rentals they all have roof mounted AC's or swamp coolers and never an issue.
