What's the most you spent on a pair of shoes?

I'm curious about the most amount of money you ever spent on a pair of shoes?

I also would like to hear from the women, because women shoes cost more than men's ... For example the hot shoe of the moment right now "Louboutin" can cost $500-$600 a pair... or even higher...

Damn 2500 on a pair of boots is more expensive than even Manolo Blahniks or
Jimmy Choos.. That's a lot for shoes!

Not much. You can get really cute women's shoes for pretty cheap. I would guess no more than $75.00. I would rather waste the money on something else. LOL.

True you can get cute shoes for cheap. Some people are into status symbols though. If you look at recent candid pics of celebs you will see almost ALL of them wear Christian Louboutin shoes, and they are distinguished by the red sole. A lot of people wear fakes too and don't even know it.

If you buy shoes in the $100 range at Nordstroms, a lot are actually KNOCK OFFS in terms of style from more upscale brand name shoes. For examle you can find knock offs of Louboutin shoes even from Steve Madden, all they do is knock off high-end brand names in terms of style. Some people don't even know that what they bought is a cheaper version of another shoe. But someone who is really into fashion will know and can tell it's a fake.

$120

My BEST pair of shoes ever was a secondhand set of leather reeboks. I put years and thousands of miles on them.

I love to look at expensive shoes all day long and all kinds of designer stuff but truth is that I don't spend a lot. I don't remember the most I spent but probably around $130, not that much... I can afford to spend a lot on shoes, but I don't because I can't really justify it. So I just look at it and lust over it and fantasize but I would never spend $600 on a pair of shoes... I will look though, and try it on...
