    Rant: CCBILL and Canadians

    Dear CCbill,

It is ridiculous that you essentially will not process for Canadians unless they take on either an American or an EU partner. Other billers, which I will not specifically name, will accept Canadian Passports for the account primary identification while you will not.

I have a UK Corporation, in good standing, already working with other EU billers. I'm clearly not an American trying to get around Visa US regulations. If there were an EU Canada region, I would surely apply there.

    The frustration continues.

last time I checked it was going to cost about $3k to set up a merchant account for site memberships @ netbilling (I'm in the US, don't know what their policy is for Canada or UK based companies - or if they even offer this anymore). maybe that would be a better alternative than ccbill if the password admin/support/etc that ccbill provides isn't needed

Well, eventually I will get to this option. However, in the first few months I'm not billing $50,000 a month, the usual minimum, yet. ;)

Why do you say that? Netbilling does provide everything that CCbill does except affiliate payouts.

I looked into this a few years ago, perhaps that's a new service (or maybe I just didn't notice it at the time)
