The content provider has two basic choices: Put up a site that only allows webmasters or one that surfers can visit. The one surfers can visit has some disadvantages: for example, the samples will probably have to be damaged with something "Sample" overprinted.

Anyway, I find that the more successful webmasters I deal with realize they are in a business and don't mind being vetted a bit to make sure they are serious about their business and are not just assholes with their prick in their hand.

Saw the content, it is amateur and some of the girls are not bad at all. But it's over priced they are going to be competing with the lower end. Guys get your prices right and you may have it.

This registering with content providers is such a crock of shit. They don't verify my age, nor if I am a surfer or a webmaster. But everytime I do register for one, I sure as hell start getting your email spam right away. This "registering" is bullshit. If I'm gonna buy content, it's gonna be RIGHT now. I'm not gonna register and have to open my email just to get in your site. Plenty of good cheap content sites without having to go thru that dumbshit. You're just trying to collect email addys imo.

As a full time webmaster/photographer I have to buy content when I can't find models to shoot myself and understand the need to register to view content.

A very big content provider friend of mine used AdultCheck but the problem he had was that surfers just came in to see what was on offer.. Registering as a webmaster to view content is no different to registering here to post !!! We've all done it.. So what's the problem with you guys !!

As for spam.. I try and visit every new content provider that does post/spam on the boards I visit.. Why.. ???.. You never know what goodies you might find !! If you find that you then get unwanted emails all you have to do is email them asking them to remove you from their list.. Again no big deal.

Now as I specialise in UK models I'm pleased that PHR did spam another board as I've seen some models who's pics I wouldn't buy but I would like to work with myself..

How many of you shoot your own content.. Not many I bet and you have to buy it in... How would you know about a new provider if he didn't post/spam.. ?? Let me know the answer to that one written on the back of a £50 note.. Just my

Registering should be mandatory, and we have no problem doing it. At the end of the day if you take your business seriously to take 2 minutes to fill in some information should be no problem. It will deter those freeloading surfers who no doubt turn to content sites in their pursuit of kicks.

As far a giving the guy a hard time for spamming, JoeA is right, most of us need content so any new content providers should be of interest to 90% of you. As long as he doesn't spam repeatdly I dont see a problem with a one-time announcement. We've already placed a nice order with the guy.

Interesting that nearly all the idiots complaining about having to register don't actually produce content themselves. Registration from a content providers point of view is only sensible. If somebody hasn't the professionalism or time to bother registering for access then they're probably not worth doing business with anyway.

BTW PHR Models - you're off whinging on other boards that your post was altered. Perhaps you wanna check the rules of a board before posting and then complaining about it . Spamming on most boards is either annoying or not tolerated at all. Certainly to appear and contribute nothing except a spam post is only ever gonna get people pissed on many boards. Those that do allow it usually end up with 50% of the posts as spam. Those that don't end up very popular. I wonder why......

Think about how many different things ask me for my email address everyday, i buy content, among manyother things I do, every is gathering an email address, it gets a bit aggrivating dont ya think.

I get more spam from free log in sites than anywhere else. Sponsors and content providers spam all day long, and that IS the reason they want your address... proof is in the 100 + mails I get daily...

True but not too much of an issue these days as the buggers will get your mail addy anyway and at least in this case there is a genuine reason for wanting it. However, the remark was aimed more at the people with the excuse I can't be bothered.
