The Ducks didn't have enough talent and were too slow? Are you guys stupid? The Ducks dominated the play the entire series. THE ENTIRE SERIES. Just check the stats. Outshot, outhit, possession was lopsided every game. The Oilers capitalized on the small amount of chances they were given. The Ducks just couldnt. 1-11 on the power play isnt going to win you games. The talent was there, there speed was there, they just couldnt capitalize and I don't know what the fuck has gotten into Roloson. F him! You'll overpay for him next year and he'll tank. Just watch. GO CAROLINA!

But I agree with everything else you said, the Ducks certainly have the depth and the talent, they just couldn't capitalize fully on their power plays and they gave up several needless penalties throughout the series which Edmo did capitalize on.

Now if they were more "talented",they would have won the series..I found them mediocre and just lucky

I have to say that I love the Oilers and I'm so glad that they are playing for the Stanley Cup but I really have to agree with everything you said! The Oilers were just defensively strong and they utilized the few chances they had!!

And where did that get them? You forgot to add the stat of, how many bullshit 5 0n 3's did they get that they couldn't capitalize on? They we're calling the dumbest shit on Edmonton everytime they'd get on a roll. No wonder the shots were so lopsided. Yet the Oilers could score short handed when the ducks did something stupid? Someone is bitter! Still have the taste of that 1st round loss in your mouth? Man I would be bitter too after that disgrace of a game 7 the Shames played. As for the Blue Mile, I agree that it is lame to copy a shitty sports city like Calgary that has less cups than a bra.

As for Anaheim, they had a few good periods where they dominated Edmonton...but the Oilers, namely Roloson, weathered the storm. Edmonton won because they have the drive. Anaheim could learn a thing or two from guys like Moreau, Pisani and Peca...true team players that have stepped up BIG TIME to help bring the Oilers to the finals.

Can't really argue with you. Shames stunk the joint out in games 7. Maybe they just didn't want to get embarased by the oilers in the second round. Well I suppose since the oilers are the only Canadian team left I'll grudgingly wish them luck...but probably wont watch.

I used to be an anybody but Calgary fan, but when they made a run for the cup I couldn't help but grudgingly cheer for them. I was actually at game 6 of the finals in 2004 and could have witnessed them winning the cup. Fuck I wish they would have won that game.

The most exciting game to watch was game 3. Ducks played hard & it could've gone either way. Oilers deserved to win the series, but Bryzgalov played fantastic & made some incredible saves. They certainly are talented, but how can anyone dispute Edmonton's talent? Roloson, Pronger, Peca - all played great AND are all new acquisitions this year.

Your kidding right? Edmonton put out the sharks in game 6 and 2 days later were playing the ducks; the day game 7 would have been with the Sharks. Meanwhile the Ducks had been off for days!
