The guests are encouraged ahead of time to do certain things. That tends to make it seem scripted sometimes. Then again there are the occasional phonies who get on. Somewhere I may still have a tape I used to tape talk shows on and amazingly ended up with the same couple on the tape on different shows with completely different stories.

one of our contractors went on Springer. He was cheating on his wife with his best friends wife. He lives his life like he's on Springer 24/7. I doubt they had to coach him at all.

Reality TV is designed for the Lowest Common Denominator, IMHO.

I have also had two personal experiences of Springer. One was quite funny? The other left a nasty taste in my mouth.

Once I was walking out of treasure island in Vegas, and I walked straight into someone who I simply just didn?t see coming? I felt myself being helped up, but at the same time, pulled away too ! Id walked smack into Springer, fallen down and the guy who ?helped me? get up, was actually his bodyguard who was pulling me away ! However, it was pretty obvious that it was an accident, I said sorry, and all was fine? When I met my wife at the Venetian, I said ?guess who I just ?bumped into? ? hahaha61514;

That was actually my second encounter. As I said the first was less funny. You see, About 5 or 6years ago, when I lived in the UK, my (then) wife (a well known pornstar) was asked to shoot a custom ?splosh? video. (Splosh = Wet N Messy With Food) So she asks what they are paying, its good money, and within a few days time there I am in the kitchen, breaking eggs in her bra, and pouring baked beans down her panties etc etc?

No big deal, and we got paid, and that should really have been the end of it, , but somewhere down the line, one of the TV researchers (Who?s job it is to look out for ?interesting? characters) somehow comes across this vid, believes its for ?real? and from that point on, once or twice a week, we get calls from TV people wanting to come down and film us and our ?alternative lifestyle??

Well, as far as I'm concerned, if someone wants to film me pouring beans on my wife, or spanking her ass or whatever, as long as they are paying us for our time, then come on down, set your cameras up, and shoot your hearts out?

However, as is always the case with UK TV, although they were happy to come to us, and to devote a week or so of their time to film us doing contrived, setup and unrealistic things with food? They never of course, have a budget, and seem to expect us to allow them to interrupt our life?s for free. Needless to say, we never let them film, but that just seemed to make them more interested (but not interested enough to pay us though) and as such the amount of calls increased.

Then Jerry Springer decided to pay the UK a visit. Unsurprisingly, we had a call from Springer?s people because somewhere down the line, our ?hotline? tel number had been passed around (often wonder if they wrote it on the toilet wall at the TV center)

They asked if we were interested, and well, we thought that as it was Jerry Springer, and not the UK?s poor relation (The Trisha Show) we began talking to them? They said they couldn?t pay, BUT THE WOULD REIMBURSE LOSS OF EARNINGS FOR THE DATE OF THE TAPING? Well, wife?s a model, I'm busy? We reckoned at least 3000 might about cover it? THEY AGREED ! Right, well, now we are talking ! That?s fair enough. I?ll go on as a mass murderer, or a Nazi war criminal, for three grand, if that?s what?s needed? So we begin the telephone ?pre interviews?

Q) Did we enjoy pouring food over each other ?
A) Errrmmm OK, yes if you like?.
Q) Do you do it often ?
A) Emmmm Yes, every single day?
Q) Do we find it sexual ?
A) Ermmmm It?s the biggest thrill of our life?s etc etc?
Q) Am I prepared to act somewhat ?feisty?, if required ?
A) Ermm Yes? (Warn Steve that I don?t like bald guys and I?ll be carrying a knife? Will that do???)

Yawn? But Then?
Q) Do we perhaps have a posh friend that might disapprove of our ?hobby? ?

Well funnily enough, we did have the perfect person, and considering that she had felt a bit left out when we sent 3 of her pals off to appear on The Trisha Show a few weeks previous, the chance to do Springer appealed to her? So she agreed and naturally, they started pre calling her and on things went from there

Then, after a week or so, I get a call from my friend and she says? I'm getting concerned about this Springer show, I ask why and she says, well, It always starts off with loads of stupid questions about food? but it always seems to come around to wanting to talk about your son?

I have a son, from a previous relationship, who is in NO WAY whatsoever exposed to any of my then current porn work. I dig deeper? Other people have had calls? Lots of people? and lots of questions? Not about food? About my son?

All becomes clear. I'm supposed to go up to the shoot, expecting to talk about my ?erotic food fetish? or whatever the politically correct name they had given it, but instead I was due to be confronted with some kinda ?You do porn? It effects your son !?

Bastards? Well, I wanted to do it anyway, and say, yeah sure it affects him? He gets effected by always having the best clothes to wear. By always having the best holidays?. By having the money for all the after school clubs and activity?s? By always getting WHATEVER he wants at birthdays and Xmas etc etc?.

However, his mum, said ?No?.

So I didn?t?

My point is though, is that not only is it ?faked?? Its also pretty ?Fucked? too?
